Palmetto200 Registration

 
We are using Active.com for registration. Please read the following to better understand the registration process.  Team captains must register first and pay in full for the team. Once a team captain creates the team, team members will be able to sign up and join their team for no charge.  All runners must register to participate.
 
Team captains will be able to view, but not change their team roster. If a change to your team is required, email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the team member to remove, pace adjustment, etc and we will make this change. The new team member can sign up in the same way as other team members.  Make sure to read below to see other ways to save money on your team registration.
 
November Discount Pricing - Before November 30, 2012
  • Full Team (7-12 runners) $850 / $1050*
  • Ultra Team (4-6 runners) $500 / $600*
December Discount Pricing - Before December 31, 2012
  • Full Team (7-12 runners) $950 / $1150*
  • Ultra Team (4-6 runners) $550 / $650*
January Discount Pricing - Before January 31, 2013
  • Full Team (7-12 runners) $1050 / $1250*
  • Ultra Team (4-6 runners) $600 / $700*
February Discount Pricing - February 28, 2013
  • Full Team (7-12 runners) $1150 / $1350*
  • Ultra Team (4-6 runners) $650 / $750*
Full Pricing - After February 28, 2013 (No volunteer option)
  • Full Team (7-12 runners) $1450
  • Ultra Team (4-6 runners) $800
Note:  Registration closes on March 31, 2013.  Also, teams must be able to average a 10:00 min / mile for the course.  It is OK if some of your team members are slower than a 10:00 min / mile, but the average should be close to that.
 
FUNDRAISING FOR A DISCOUNTED TEAM REGISTRATION
 
Any team that raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will receive the following discounts, up to one free team registration, after the funds have been donated to LLS.
  • Any team that raises $750 will receive a 10% discount on their team registration (only $62.50 a runner for a team of 12)
  • Any team that raises $1500 will receive a 25% discount on their team registration (only $125 a runner for a team of 12)
  • Any team that raises $3000 will receive a 50% discount on their team registration (only $250 a runner for a team of 12) Any team that raises $6000 will receive one free team registration (only $500 per runner for a team of 12)
SPONSORSHIP DEVELOPMENT FOR A DISCOUNTED TEAM REGISTRATION
 
Any team that secures a sponsorship for the Palmetto200 will receive the following discounts, up to one free registration, after the sponsorship has been paid to the Palmetto Race Group, LLC.
  • 50% team rebate if a $1500 sponsorship (or needed in-kind donation) is obtained for the Palmetto200. Sponsor will receive advertising on our website, race shirts, race packets and navigational leg maps used by every runner.
  • 100% team rebate if a $3000 sponsorship is obtained for the Palmetto200.  Will include all Leg Sponsor items listed above plus advertising in our newsletters, Facebook Page, start and finish of race.
RECEIVE UP TO A 20% TEAM REBATE FOR EACH NEW TEAM YOU REFER
 
Any team that refers a friend that starts a 100% NEW team will receive a 20% rebate after the NEW team has registered and paid in full.  A 10% rebate is available to teams who refer a team where at least 50% of the members on the referred team have NOT run a Palmetto Relays event (Palmetto200 or Palmetto70) before. The email address of the REFERRED team captain MUST be provided before the NEW team registers.   • NEW teams can only be referred by one team
  • NEW team cannot have run a Palmetto Relays event in past
  • If a Full and Ultra team register together then the rebate is on the Ultra team
 
VOLUNTEER OPTIONS (visit our Volunteers page for more details on duties)
  • Full Teams - Provide two volunteers willing to work an exchange zone OR pay $200 to fund volunteers from a local charity
  • Ultra Teams - Provide one volunteer willing to work an exchange zone OR pay $100 to fund volunteers from a local charity
  • To take advantage of the reduced rate when providing volunteers, your team must register by January 31, 2013. After this date, the option to provide volunteers is no longer available. 
Important Volunteer Dates
  • February 15, 2013- There is a 'Not Sure' option which will allow teams until February 28th to handle their volunteer preference.
  • February 28, 2013 - Alate fee or $50 for Full teams and $25 for Ultra teams will be assessed when Paying For Volunteers.
